Description: | glideverb is a Max for Live audio effect inspired by the reverse reverb algorithms of classic multi-effects processors with extended features that allow for further textural exploration. Reverse reverb has a couple meanings in the audio world, but in this case, reverse reverb is an effect that consists of a series of closely spaced delays, each with a higher volume than the last, which creates a swelling effect similar to reversed tape. It was popularized by Kevin Shields, who used the reverse reverb setting of the Yamaha SPX90 in combination with his signature “glide guitar” technique to create the unique guitar textures of My Bloody Valentine’s classic albums. glideverb gives you control over the shape and length of the swell, as well as the ability to smooth, subtly randomize and add movement to the delays, offering a wide palette of sonic possibilities. |

for those wanting to hear the device in action, I added a brief video with a demo song to the gumroad page. I'll add more demos as I make them, but so far I've been too busy making the device itself!

Saw a trusted friend post about this and was intrigued. Running Glideverb through its paces and loving it. A gem! Well done and looking forward to more.
