Description: | This device turn your launchpad User 2 mode into 4 banks of eight sliders to control Rack Macros throughout your set. There is a mapping section to the left with a few different options. You can select via the menus, or turn 'Map' on to click macros and automatically map them. You can use multiple instances of this device to get more than 1 bank, which are assigned to the arrow keys on the launchpad. Each page has it's own color. You can use this with multiple launchpads, by selecting the appropriate script slot. You can adjust the glide time with the eight scene launch buttons. Currently, this works on macros only, but I will soon open it up to all parameters. Enjoy! |

Haven't used this yet, but very excited to! This will be great for live shows I'm hoping. Thanks for making this.

In the drop down menus, could you make the text easier to read?

Done! Thanks for letting me know about that. Those were practically unreadable!
Let me know if it looks a bit better now.

Hey, I tried it and it is much easier to read now. But I now have another question about this device. I was hoping that you could incorporate some memory. To explain better, I am creating a custom rack and in this rack I have a macro of 8 knobs and then the launchpadslider next to it, with each slider mapped to a knob. The problem is if I close out the set and re-open it, the mapping is lost. I hope this is clear and I hoping it's not asking much. I love this device. You've done a great job on it.

hmmm, there should be saving. This device is kind of useless without it :). I'll take a look at it today.

I replaced a few objects, and I was able to have the mapping save with the set on my system. If saving with the set still isn't working for you, you could send me your set (without samples) via dropbox, and I'd be happy to see if I could reproduce the issue.

It works with the latest version of Live and Max. Have you mapped the parameters? Does the bottom row of LEDs come on?

Hi -- cool device.
I have a Launchpad 1 and a new Launchpad RGB; you're device is recognized by the old Launchpad, but not the new one. I went through the script slots, but the RGB Launchpad doesn't recognize your cool device. Do you have any ideas about how to correct this?
Thanks!

If the RGB LP uses a different script than the LP, then it will take a bit of a rewrite. Unfortunately I do not have that device, so its not likely I will do it.
