Name | Version: | Descartes 185 Sequencer with support for iPad 1.1 |
Author: | xanadu |
Device Type: | MIDI Effect |
Description: | In 2011 I made a sequencer which behaved like a RYK 185 hardware sequencer. This MIDI sequencer is its descendant. The order in which the 16 stages are played is controlled by another sequencer. I named this a Descartes sequencer because it was inspired by the René sequencer by Make Noise and Native Instruments XYZ module for Reaktor. If you have an iPad you can install the TwoMonUSB App. The iPad becomes an extra touchscreen monitor for your desktop or notebook computer running MaxForLive. You can play this sequencer in the iPad using your index finger. The User Interface shows a lot of buttons. But don’t be intimidated. Tapping them will become intuitive. But there was no room for information on the UI, so reading the manual is recommended. Version 1.1: - Bugfixes - Update in manual. Recall upper 4 memory slots works immediately, lower 4 at the start of the next loop. |
