Overview

Name | Version: Dronepulse 1.0
Author: floszk
Device Type: Audio Effect
Description: DRONEPULSE is an audio effect that allows you to generate oscillations with seven signal types (Sin, Phasor, Tri, Rect, Saw, Pink & White). Two oscillators are available and a third one modulate them to create pulse effects. Randomizers are included and can be applied to signal generators. DRONEPULSE helps you to easily create simple pulsating sounds (from 10 ms to 30 seconds period), heavy shaking drones, groovy synced basslines (with the quantize mode), or experimental random frequencies.

#Linear / Pulse Mode
Linear will make work Osc1 and Osc2 to generate linear signal.
Pulse will introduce a third oscillator to modulate 1 and 2 and create pulsation.

#Oscillators 1 & 2
Simply choose the signal you want to generate and the frequency. Frequencies are from 1 to 10.000 Hz. Use the gain to mix the two signals.

#Pulse
Choose the signal you want for modulation.
You can set the pulse's period from 10 ms to 30 seconds, or from 1 to 128 bars (relative to the project's tempo).

#Signal Types
Seven signals are available for each oscillator : Sinusoidal, Phasor, Triangle, Rectangle, Sawtooth, Pink Noise, White Noise.

#Phase
Adjust the phase for all signals to correct the sync in the quantized mode.

#Free / Quantized Mode
Choose the mode to start the signal. Free Mode allows you to start the signal when you want. In quantized mode the Ableton Live's global transport has to be launched.

#Randomizers
#1 Allows you to generate random periods values for the Pulse. In "RANDb" mode a new random bar value is triggered at each step. In "RANDs" it's a "time" value. Values will be picked up randomly into their respective ranges depending on the Mode. Steps that trigger the random choice are generated at a tempo you can set. Steps are starting when clicking on the device's general Start button. At this moment the upper and lower leds will begin to blink, indicating each step. A random delay can be introduce to create more randomness. In this case the lower led will blink at each step + a random time picked up in a range between 0 ms and the entered value (max. 3 seconds) and indicate the moment when a new random value is chosen.
#2 Same way for the 2nd randomizer. In this case it applies to the Oscillator2 frequency.

#Oscilloscope Buffer & Gain
Change the Buffer and Gain of the oscilloscope to adjust signal displayed by moving the cursor in the X and Y directions.
