Overview

Name | Version: aP - Tourin Machine Mk2 -and Expanders- 2.0
Author: ascoltatore
Device Type: MIDI Effect
Description: These Max For Live Devices are directly inspired by Turing Machine Mk2 and relative expanders modules designed by Tom Whitwell at Music Thing Modular.

The main device consists in a random sequencher which can loop last produced Midi notes.
This new Mk2 version features three expanders which allow you to modulate CC parameters, sequence Drum Racks and gate your audio with a complex envelope. All these controls are relative to the sequence produced by the selected Tourin' Machine. It's pretty fun to have more of them and istantly change the one controlling everything to get drastic changing effects. You can use two or more Tourin' Machines on the same track to achieve polyrhythmic polyphony.

They're great to experiment with, always giving you results you couldn't expect.

"I couldn't afford an Eurorack system",
so, i think it's not nice to sold your project... ok it's 1e, but why you don't just give it ?
Hi,
I bought this device, very usefull, thanks.
I don't understand how to set the tension expander (I understand how to map it...) and have no idea how it reacts...
Could you provide some explanations?
Thanks
Needs an update. Stuck notes, expanders don't seem to work.
Same for me, the Tourin Machine produces notes with sustain, which is a problem...
So does this work or not? Before I spend money on it...
