Hey man,

I'm interested in your device, but before i buy, i have a question:

Say i have a 16th note offbeat that's swung to 25%.
If i click on it, will your device show 25%?
Or will it just show some other value (like maybe the last value it was set to)?

So i'm basically asking: does your device "read" the swing of a note and display that?

I hope so, because i tried a few swing devices, and none of them do that!
This works, but it would nice if you could also use it on clips in the arrangement view.

What would also be great would be to add the option to only export certain MIDI notes.

That could be done with a text box.

For example, "C3-C4" would create MIDI tracks for all notes (if they exist) between those C3 & C4.
Whereas "C3, G3, A4, B4" would only export those notes.

My thinking here is drum racks. I often like to start out with all my drums in one drum rack, but, because i use a lot of third party VSTs, at some point the CPU load gets pretty heavy.

So at that point i'd like to break certain drum sounds out to their own tracks for freezing.

I can get the drum pad out by simply dragging it to a new MIDI track, and all its effects will also come along.

But with the functionality i outlined above, we could also use your device to get the MIDI out.

Actually, a future device that combined all this into one device, as well as deleting the MIDI and devices from the original clip would be amazing!

Cool device!

But it could be greatly improved by giving it the option to adapt to zoom.

Because when you're zoomed in horizontally in the arrange window to a few bars, the play line shoots of the screen really easily.
Sorry, just to add, maybe you could fix the above by putting a "Push compatability" button on the device, so that people can choose whether it matches Push or not. Because i'm sure there's a reason you calibrated it like you did......but the Push compatability would also be very nice.
Wow, this lets you apply swing to only certain notes in a MIDI clip..... unbelievably useful.
How on earth can this not be possible as standard in Live?

I only have two feature requests:

#1: it's it's quite fiddle to set a precise swing amount, even using shift. Would be great if we could also double-click and type in the number.

#2: the swing % doesn't match up to the % when applying swing (quantize swing) with Push 3.

By this i mean: imagine i have 16th notes, and i apply 33% swing with Push.
If i then create another set of 16th notes, and apply 33% swing with your device, it doesn't match up. Not even close. The notes swung with your device are waaaaay more swung.

If you don't have a Push, i'm happy to help you trouble shoot and find work out how to make the two different methods match up.
Where's the device? Link just goes to a page of Geramn text
This is so useful, it lets you have two VST instruments on the same track, with one sending MIDI to the other.

For example, i have Cthulhu first, then MIDI router, then Serum hosted inside Patchwork audio (not synth) plugin, so i can trigger Serum from Cthulhu's arp. This means i can freeze the track, which wouldn't be possible with a seperate track for the arp. Many thanks!
I just released a device that (partially) solves the problem of have a varying numebr of notes in your chord.

Search for the midi device "Henry Mancini Wet Dream".
Hey man, i just released a similar device, but with a twist! (check out Henry Mancini Wet Dream)

Are you interested in developing my device a bit further? I didn't write the device, someone else did, but it was my idea, but i don't have the technical chops to develop it further.

Thanks, this works great, but there's one small (or rather large) problem.

When using this device, UNDO no longer works in Live 9!

See here for more info, seems like a lot of people are having similar problems with M4L devices:
